NVIDIA TEGRA
It is a system on chip (SOC) developed
by NVIDIA for devices such as smartphones, tablets, PDA’s. It
integrates all ARM architecture on one package. It emphasizes on providing
lower power consumption and high video and audio performance.

It is a Socket chip with Quad-core power CPU, and
(also has a fifth companion core). All four cores are having Arm Cortex-A9s, except the companion
one is made with lower power silicon process; it is only 500MHz limit. It
supports latest ARM’s SIM D-NEON(extension).
TEGRA 3 with respect to TEGRA 2 has double the quantity of pixel shaders. It also supports video up to 1600*2500 resolutions.
It was released in November 2011.

TEGRA 4 (Wayne):
Nvidia announced their next generation Tegra 4 mobile processor called Wayne in January 2013.It is right now the world's fastest mobile processor.
It is similar to Tegra 3, but uses four Arm Cortex -A15 cores and a companion core which functions to save mobile battery. It has 72 cores a GPU which is 20 times more powerful than Tegra 2 Gpu and 6 times more powerful than Tegra 3 Gpu and also enabling users to play a 4K content.
