Huawei’s
next flagship Smartphone, Glory 4 may have escaped your attention until now but
the recent rumored Specs leak has generated lot of buzz about this particular
Smartphone. Huawei Glory 4 is said to
feature the new MediaTek MT6592 true octa-core processor clocked at 1.7
GHz. Apart from the powerful processor, it
will have a display panel with resolution of 1280 x 720, although no size has
been specified. Other specs are said to include 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal
storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei
Glory 4 will run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating
system on release, skinned with the Emotion 2.0 user interface.
This phone is
headed for a release in December although no specific Glory 4 release date or
price has been specified yet, nor any news on whether it will come to regions
outside China. If these specs turn out to be real, then Richard Yu sure wasn’t
bending the truth when saying that the Glory 4 will be higher-end than the
Xiaomi Red Rice. So we have that covered. Now all that’s left for us to find
out is how much this will cost.
Sadly
though, there’s been absolutely no word about a possible launch outside of
China for this device. That doesn’t mean it can’t happen, naturally, but for
sure it looks like Huawei wants to focus on its home market first with the
Glory 4. And that makes sense – after all, it’s there that Xiaomi has been
rising over the past years.
As
you may have gathered, the image below supposedly shows us the top of the
upcoming Huawei Glory 4. The leaked Huawei Glory 4 image shown below purports
to be of the top of the handset, but as usual we’ll caution that none of the
above has been made official yet.
