It was on 30 November 2012, that Apple started selling its 2012 iMac through its Stores. When we are discussing about new i-phone or new i-pad then here comes new advanced and sleek desktop by Apple. Apple is leading brand of gadgets and smartphones in the world. It is followed all over by royal authorities, celebrities and other higher dignities. The iMac has always been about stylish looks and designs. User always found something new and innovative from Apple desktops. Let’s see what this fish has got. So let’s talk about its features and overall build quality.

Design and Layout:

Resolution	2560 x 1440
Panel	Has Backlit panel with IPS technology which offers clear and share viewing from 178 degrees.
Brightness	Up to 300 nits
Lamination	Due to its full lamination process and coating on glass, it removes 2mm gap between the screen and the glass covering it. Also minimizes reflection by 75 %.
Touchscreen	Has Touchpad but No Touch available, buyers will have to look elsewhere. This is major DRAWBACK of this cool desktop.
Screen Care	It’s so sensitive that it picks every possible dust or finger points. So take proper precautions while handling it.
Thickness	5 mm at its edges. Incredibly thin.

Watching images and HD videos on this screen is an immersive experience. Colors are vivid and clear. Even in some images it actually looked as if objects will pop out due to its detailing –level.

Fusion Drive is new innovation by Apple i.e. it uses flash drive and put it with a larger regular spinning hard drive. It enhances its performance and applications open quickly.

Additional Details: 

The iMac comes with Apple’s wireless keyboard and a Magic Mouse. You can also choose Magic Trackpad in replace of magic Mouse. Both are comfortable and good. You can pair them with computer via Bluetooth 4.0. But, I recommend you to pick Magic Trackpad.

Price:

It is available at $1,799 whereas 21.5-inch version available at $1,299. To get Fusion Drives, you have to pay additional $250.

My Suggestion:

If you are planning for a new desktop for your home or office then this desktop from Apple is worthy a choice. It is stylish & powerful and comes in marvelous category of I-pad and I-phone.
